How to Create Free Infographics

Today’s world is visual – the more you can tell your nonprofit’s story through photos, graphics, and creative content, the better you’ll hold your audience’s attention. But what happens when your graphic designer is busy working on your annual report and you’ve already used every flyer and client photo at your disposal?

Time to create infographics on the cheap.

Desmond Wong of Hubspot created a great series of infographics on greating infographics with software you already have, like powerpoint and word. Check out his suggestions; I’ve used them to develop all kinds of quick visual content. Info graphics only take a moment to convey their message and can show powerful facts that words alone can’t articulate. I’ve also found that creating infographics are fun intern projects or volunteer assignments for folks helping out development and marketing departments.
