Do Dai Due
Living in an urban area, I don't often venture into the great outdoors for extended periods of time. The closest I get to camping these days is a brunch visit to Dai Due. With delicious locally-grown vegetable and cured meat options cooked over an open flame, the food has an unrivaled smoky flavor that will remind you of a weekend in the woods. I've only been for brunch but I'm sure their dinner menu is equally as delectable.
Tricks of the trade: they make a fabulous beet ketchup from scratch and the McGroover is a pancake sandwich that manages to be crispy and soft at the same time. You can usually avoid a queue by sitting at the bar, and the grill fire keeps the area toasty.
