Via 313 for the 512
Austin is a long way from New York or Chicago, but I'll venture to say that we have some tremendous pizza. Good things definitely come in small packages when it comes to Via313, Detroit style personal pizzas served out of a South Austin brick and mortar and several food truck locations.
From the classic Detroiter with two styles of cured pepperoni to the Cadillac, which includes balsamic, arugula, and prosciutto, the thick bottom crust and layers of melted cheese along the edges are worth at least one try. With dairy-free options and some of the best sausage I've had on pizza, the menu features something for everyone.
When we bring guests to Austin, this stop is a close third, right after Tacodeli and Ramen Tatsuya. A must-eat.
