In Line For Lick

Spring is here, which means that summer will arrive before we know it. Before the heat and humidity return us all to our air-conditioned, temperature-controlled spaces, we should venture out to enjoy some of the sweetest treats Austin has to offer. 

Even though I live close to Austin's newest ice cream attraction, Spun, I have to say that Lick is still a personal favorite. With a line that sprawls so long you'd think you were at Ramen Tatsuya, Lick offers some exciting flavors and local flair. 

I prefer the Texas au lait, but then again I'm not the adventurous type. If you want to take a chance, the rotating fennel, tomato, and beet options spice up the menu. They just added a North Austin location and are expanding their vegan/dairy free flavors.
