Enjoying Anna Maria Island

While island life isn't for me all of the time, Anna Maria Island, quietly nestled between Sarasota and Tampa, is gorgeous and almost seems like still life. Time moves slower, golf carts are cars, and great attention has been placed on preserving the natural beauty of the island. 

AMI was an amazing vacation destination and I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable Florida getaway. We boated, beached, ate more ice cream than any respectable lady should admit, and enjoyed the sunshine in the company of family - exactly what a vacation should be.
